Our Team

Swiss Dental Australia has a team of specialized technicians in the field of digital dentistry and ceramic artistry. Our vision is to create high quality but cost-effective products by using predictable CAD/CAM manufacturing processes without compromising the esthetic outcome. 

Florian Schäuble
Head of Laboratory

Florian is a specialized dental technician in the field of framework production using CAD/CAM technologies.

After graduation in Zurich, Switzerland and working in general dental laboratories Florian moved into the field of CAD/CAM technology.

Florian received his training at Biodenta, a leader in CAD/CAM technology in Switzerland.

Florian was appointed team leader of the US CAD/CAM laboratory and joined Swiss Dental Australia three years ago to establish a CAD/CAM dental laboratory with strong focus on fixed dental implant retained restorations.

Currently Florian is involved in the development of milling strategies to produce screw retained full zirconia frameworks.

Paul Abbott
Acrylic Department

Paul qualified as a dental technician in 2004 in Brisbane where he devoloped skills and experience in all areas of dental technology. 

He then went on to complete an advanced diploma in dental prosthetics in 2009 and has since been heavily involved in removable prosthetics.

Recently Paul become an instructor in clinical use of intra-oral scanning for the digital work-flow in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Paul has now turned his focus to the production of implant supported restorations with his position as Dental Prostetist at the AIDER.

Douglas Kewley
Crown and Bridge Department

Doug comes from a background of close to 30 years within the dental industry and so brings a wealth of experience to Swiss Dental Australia. Doug's career  focus and main area of expertise is fixed prosthetics and aesthetic dentistry i.e.: crown and bridge work. He has worked in a number of prominent dental laboratories over the years and has  always favoured working where the dental laboratory is on site, "I really enjoy working directly with the clinician and patients, to achieve  results that people happy with." 

Doug has extensive and ongoing training during his career to keep pace with new technology, materials and techniques. When not at work Doug enjoys family life, keeping fit, listening to music and life in SE Queensland. 

Eason Liao
Ceramic Specialist

Eason graduated from Department of Dental Technology, Central Taiwan University of Science and Technology in 2008.

Eason's early career focused on Acrylic denture works.

In the last years Eason moved into the ceramic art to veneer titanium or zirconia frameworks.

During his time in AIDER, Eason has undertaken extensive training in the field of CAD/CAM dental technology and is now highly proficient in the production of full arch bridgework.

Naomi Berrios 
Emax Department

Naomi graduated as dental technician at the TAFE in Brisbane and joined the AIDER to expand her knowledge in CAD/CAM technology. Besides the training in CAD/CAM Naomi supports the Crown and Bridge Department.

Dr Dimosthenis Mantokoudis
CEO

Dimosthenis completed his studies in dentistry and postgraduate study in prosthodontics at University of Berne, Switzerland.

Dimosthenis has started a project with Florian Schäuble to develop and manufacture high quality but affordable prosthetic appliances using exclusive CAD/CAM techniques in collaboration with 3Shape and Ivoclar.

Helen Ho
Administration

Helen joined the AIDER clinic in 2012 and concluded the Cert III in dental assisting. Beside the clinical training Helen got involved in the field of implant dentistry and dental technology.
